SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Last week’s question and answer:

This week’s question:
This pilot had 8 MiG victories in the Korean War. In 1953 he was assigned to the 50th Fighter-Bomber Wing, 81st Fighter-Bomber Squadron, and played a primary role in moving the wing’s F-86 aircraft to Hahn AB, Germany. Later he led the 67th Tactical Fighter Squadron in combat operations in Vietnam. He was shot down in his F-105D Thunderchief and spent seven years as a prisoner of war. He is one of only four airmen to receive multiple awards of the Air Force Cross.
