Parking lot maintenance

The 50th Civil Engineer Squadron is executing parking striping in the restricted area, Building 24 and 26 parking lots that will impact mission-essential, shift-work and handicapped personnel working this Saturday and Sunday.

Health Promotions reopens

The Health Promotions office is beginning to see patients by appointment only. Masks must be worn to appointments.

Schriever Express Closure

The Schriever Express is scheduled to close Saturday and Sunday to pour concrete. It will reopen Monday.

Free tutoring for students

The Department of Defense, Military Community and Family Policy temporarily expanded eligibility for for military families. The program provides on-demand academic support in more than 100 subjects for kindergarten through college students.

Over-the-counter program suspended indefinitely

The 21st Medical Squadron pharmacy has suspended the over-the-counter medication program indefinitely to ensure patients are receiving the appropriate level of care and assessment due to ongoing events.

Voluntary Leave Transfer Program

Paul Ray, John Kirby and Robert Matthias have been approved for the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program. To donate leave, please do the following:

2.    Request to donate annual leave to recipient under the VLTP

Logistics Planner Retraining Opportunities

Family Advocacy Open

The Peterson Air Force Base Family Advocacy Office is open and offering all of their services over the phone. This includes such as couples counseling scheduling, consultations on parenting support, divorce and separation, relationship enhancement and communication skills.

Virtual relationship workshop

The Center for Relationship Education put together a series of free virtual relationship workshops. The workshops will foster effective communication, cultivate clear understanding, and aid in conflict resolution. Each eligible couple will receive up to $150 in gift cards for attending all four sessions and participating in surveys. Registration is open to couples who are dating, engaged or married.

Free oil change and safety inspection

The Phil Long Motor Group is offering free oil changes and vehicle safety inspections to all Schriever Air Force Base personnel.

Colorado Technical University Patriot Scholarship

Colorado Technical University awards 50 full tuition scholarships to service members, veterans and their family members each year. The application period runs from until June 30. Recipients are announced in November. For more information or to apply, visit or call 567-2043.
