Stay safe Labor Day weekend

The National Safety Council estimates there could be up to 390 roadway fatalities this Labor Day weekend based on trends from previous years. Fatal crashes in Colorado, due to DUIs, between January and July, rose from 28% of fatalities in 2019 to 30% in 2020.

Three factors that drive those numbers are alcohol consumption, distracted driving and fatigue. Do your part to keep the number of fatalities down by having a plan and a backup plan if you consume alcohol, keeping 100% of your focus on the roadway and staying alert and well rested.
