SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, encouraging education about the importance of knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, so it’s important to know the symptoms and risk factors.
