SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. --

The 310thth Operations Group welcomed a Col. James Taggart as their new commander during a change of command ceremony outside the 310th Space Wing headquarters building, May 24.

Before taking command of the group, Taggart served as the U.S. Space Force Space and Readiness Task Force senior individual mobilization augmentee at the Peterson-Schriever Garrison, Colorado.

Col. L. Kent Leonard, the previous group commander, is retiring. Col. Shariful Khan, the 310th SW commander, presided over the ceremony.
