Adrian Gaxiola, Vosler Non-Commissioned Officer Academy director of education, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, July 1, 2021. The VNCOA launched the first-ever NCOA virtual in-residence remote course allowing the continuation of professional military education during the COVID-19. The VNCOA coordinated with the Barnes Center for Enlisted Education to validate Community College of the Air Force requirements and develop a virtual education plan which saved the Air Force $1.8 million in temporary duty costs.
