SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Last week's answer:

On Dec. 8, 1957, what two organizations subordinate to the 50th Fighter-Bomber Wing inactivated and were replaced by deputy commanders for their respective functions as the Air Force implemented a "dual-deputy" organizational construct?  The 50th Fighter-Bomber and 50th Maintenance and Supply Groups inactivated and were replace with the Deputy Commander for Operations and Deputy Commander for Maintenance, respectively.
