SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Last week's question and answer:
On Nov. 3, 1944, the 50th Fighter Group (now 50th Operations Group) moved to this airfield in France to continue their combat operations.  The group moved to airfield A-96 at Toul-Ochey, France. The group remained there until April 1945, when it occupied its first airfield in Germany.

Armistice Day was codified as a national holiday in public law in 1938.  When was the law changed to rename the holiday Veteran's Day?
