Fort Carson to host combined 9/11 ceremony

SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- All Schriever Air Force Base personnel are invited to attend a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony hosted by Fort Carson Sept. 11 at 10:28 a.m. at Fort Carson's Gate One Memorial.

Proper attire for the ceremony is service dress for military members and coat and tie/formal for civilians.

Transportation from Schriever AFB to Fort Carson will be provided, but space is limited. Buses will board from the north portal parking lot beginning at 8:30 a.m. and will depart at 9 a.m.  After the ceremony, buses will depart Fort Carson at noon to return to Schriever. Those interested in riding the bus should contact 2nd Lt. Kenneth Mackenthun at or 2nd Lt. David Mulqueen to reserve a seat.

If you will be driving to Fort Carson, limited parking is available.
