SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Chief Master Sgt. John Bentivegna, 50th Space Wing command chief, was invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch as part of Military Appreciation Night festivities prior to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox game against the Fresno Grizzlies June 4 at Security Service Field, Colo. In addition to Bentivegna, Orbital Harmony was on-hand to perform the National Anthem and the Schriever Air Force Base mascot, the Griffin, spent time taking photos with fans and interacting with Sky Sox mascot Sox the Fox.
