SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Last week's answer:

On March 1, 1950, the 50th Fighter (now Space) Wing was redesignated 50th Fighter-Interceptor Wing. What was its station at the time of the redesignation?  At that time, the wing was stationed at Otis Air Force Base, Massachusetts.

This week's question:
On March 2, 1973, this NASA space probe carried a gold plaque describing what we look like, where we are, and the date its mission began designed to signal peace to any extraterrestrials who might intercept it.
