SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Last week's answer:

On Feb. 7, 1994, the first of this satellite family launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.  On that date, the U.S. Air Force launched the first Milstar satellite.

This week's question:
On March 1, 1950, the 50th Fighter (now Space) Wing was redesignated 50th Fighter-Interceptor Wing.  What was its station at the time of the redesignation?

Correction to GPS full operational capability answer. General Ashy, then Air Force Space Command Commander, declared on April 27, 1995, that GPS had met the conditions for full operational capability. The Air Force announcement of that achievement occurred on July 17, 1995.
