SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Each month, the Schriever Top III selects a Top Performer from the base. The Top Performer award highlights the superior efforts and contributions of junior enlisted members from across the base.
Staff Sgt. Krystal Stinedurf, 1st Space Operations Squadron, received the Top III Top Performer of the Month for December. Stinedurf set herself apart from her peers in December by managing communications security accounts for two squadrons and three 24/7 operation floors. Additionally, Stinedurf prototyped 1 SOPS's cyberspace risk management framework process and pushed critical system accreditations, seven months ahead of schedule. Finally, as an information assurance officer, she audited two networks, validated 339 security criteria and commanded a five-year audit review, which identified and corrected nine critical vulnerabilities on a $1.3 billion satellite mission system. Stinedurf's dedication to the mission was recognized when she was selected as 1 SOPS's NCO of the Year.
