SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Reveille, Warfit Run to be held Dec. 10
The December reveille will be held 7:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at the 50th Space Wing Headquarters, while the Warfit Run is 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Schriever Fitness Center.
Send spirit of the holiday to deployed members
The 50th Space Wing Chaplain office is heading up a care package program for deployed members. If you would like to send a care package, please stop by the office in Building 300, Room 149. Collection of the care packages takes place 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1-5. If you or your team would like to support a deployed Airman for this event, contact the chapel staff at 567-3705. We are paying for the postage for a flat rate box you can get from us. Fill it with goodies and drop the box to us by Dec. 5. This is limited to 70 boxes.
Adopt a family
Come the 50th Space Wing Chaplain office to adopt a family in the Ellicott School District and Schriever Air Force Base community as part of the Angel Tree program. Interested individuals may stop by at the office in Building 300, Room 149 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Dec. 5. The gifts for the families will be collected Dec. 8-15 in the Chaplain office. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to drop off the gifts, call 567-3705.
Christmas is coming, buy Avalanche and Nuggets Tickets
The Information, Tours and Tickets office is selling tickets to the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets. All sections and seats are available for every home game for the 2014/2015 seasons. Stop by the ITT/ODR office for pricing or to purchase tickets. Call 567-6050 for more questions.
Brad Paisley tickets on sale now
The Information, Tickets and Tours and Outdoor Recreation office is now selling tickets for Country superstar Brad Paisley at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs. Tickets can be purchased at in Building 300, Room 133. Stop by the office or call Tanya at 567-6050 for any questions.

3 SOPS holds memorial run
The 3rd Space Operation Squadron will be hosting a 5K memorial run 3 p.m. Dec. 10 in remembrance of four Schriever Airmen tragically lost in 2013 - Tech. Sgt. Edward Weber, Airmen 1st Class Edward Yu and Abtron O'Neal, and 1st Lt. Nicholas Goirigolzarri. The squadron invites all members of Schriever AFB to come run in memory of these fallen heroes. Please be in place at the gym by 2:45 p.m.
Denver Nuggets features 'Courtside Experience'
The Denver Nuggets will provide all military personnel who purchase tickets to the San Antonio Spurs game on Dec. 14 the opportunity to sit courtside for the pre-game warm-ups. Stop by the Information Travel and Tickets office in Building 300, Room 133 for more information or to purchase tickets.
Day passes now available
The Information, Tickets and Travel office is now selling season and day passes for your local mountains. You can now purchase season passes and day passes for your favorite mountains. Stop by ODR/ITT office to buy your tickets here before going skiing or snowboarding. Call 567-6050 for more information.
Mailroom changes hours of operation
Beginning Feb. 2, the Schriever mailroom located in Building 300, Room 144 will have new operating hours. Access to mailboxes is from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with key access) from Monday to Friday. The primary customer support window hours are from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Accountable and outgoing mail drop off is due by 9:15 a.m. for same day service. For more information, call 567-5305.
Schriever mailroom operates holiday hours
The Schriever mailroom will be closed on the following family days: Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. It will reopen the following duty day at 7:30 a.m. For more information, please contact Master Sgt. Georgina Williams at 567-5305/2502.

Clinic to hold flu line
The Schriever Clinic will hold a flu line 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 3 in front of the Satellite Dish Dining Facility.
Finance in-processing briefs
The 50th Comptroller Squadron now holds weekly in-processing briefs for new members needing to fill out their PCS travel vouchers. Finance PCS in-processing briefs will be held every Monday at 8 a.m. in the finance lobby located in Building 210, Room 146A. We will be only in-processing members at this time so please ensure this information gets passed to anyone in your squadron involved in in-processing new members. Please make sure members visit finance within five days of arrival, to ensure compliance and allow their travel voucher to be processed in a timely manner.
