SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Schriever AFB SIPRNet E-mail Migration
The Department of Defense is directing migration of SIPRNet E-mail services from the existing Air Force managed configuration to a DISA enterprise solution. Schriever's migration is scheduled for Oct. Changes to E-mail functionality will be minor for users, but all SIPRNet E-mail users and organizational account managers must perform pre-migration actions to ensure compliance and avoid mission impact. Over the coming weeks, you will receive emails on when and how to complete your checklist. If you have any questions at this time, please contact the CFP at 567-2666 option 2.

 50 SW command chief holds enlisted call
The 50th Space Wing command chief will be hosting an enlisted call 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 4 in the Building 300 auditorium. Attendance is mandatory for all enlisted present for duty, allowing for mission requirements. Mission partners are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Staff Sgt. 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
There will be a 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at 3:45 p.m. in front of the Security Forces Squadron Bldg. 20. For more info please contact Capt. Grady at 567-5553.
 
POW/ MIA week is Sep. 15-19
Revile/ opening ceremony will be at 7:30 a.m. Sep. 15. Retreat will be at 3:00 p.m. Sep. 18, which kicks of the 24 hour run. There will be a vigil Sep. 15-19 in the mornings and afternoons at the portals. For more info please contact Lt. Mark Gymiski at 567-4907.
 
50 SW holds SNCO induction banquet
The 50th Space Wing Senior NCO Induction Banquet will be held Sept. 19 at the Peterson Air Force Base club. The medallion ceremony begins 5 p.m. Social hour starts 5:30 p.m. The banquet begins at 6 p.m. The cost of the event is $27 for members and non-members for all ranks and must be paid by cash or check only. Payment for meals at the door will not be available. Dress for military is mess dress or semi-formal. Civilian wear is formal or semi-formal attire. Deadline to purchase a meal ticket is Sept. 12. Ticket reps are: Master Sgt. Adam McNeill (NOG), Master Sgt. Fernando Santos (OG), Master Sgt. Jennifer O'Quinn (WSA), Master Sgt. Tonya Jones (MSG) and Master Sgt. Darrin Donovan (MSG). Ski Tickets Now Available
Ski season has officially begun. Buy your tickets before heading to your mountain. Avoid the lines, buy your tickets at the ODR/ITT office. Resorts are being added daily, and passes include the Patriot Pass, Patriot Pass Plus and Liberty Pass. Single day passes as well as single mountain season passes are also available. Elitch Gardens is still Open
The Information, Tickets, and Tours/Outdoor Recreation Office is still selling discounted Elitch Gardens Amusement Park tickets. One day passes, meal vouchers and parking passes can all be purchased at the ITT/ODR. Stop by the office or call Tanya at 567-6050 with any questions.

Retiree Appreciation Day
The annual retiree appreciation day is 9 a.m-2 p.m. Sep 13 at the U.S. Air Force Academy cadet field house. There will be free breakfast (while available), an information fair, medical and dental information, veteran and retiree associations and guest speakers. For more information call 556-7153.

Military Retiree Activities holds meetings
The Military Retiree Activities office holds a luncheon at noon the second Thursday of each month at the Peterson Air Force Base Club, followed by its monthly council meeting at 2:30 p.m. in Building 350, Room 1206. The guest speaker on Sept. 11 will be Drew Aquino, who will speak about the YMCA and all of its benefits to the military retirees. In-service recruiter briefs Palace Front, Palace Chase
Palace Chase and Palace Front briefings are held 10 a.m. Wednesdays in Building 26 (310th Space Wing Headquarters), Suite 106 (subject to change if TDY). If you are interested in information about the Air Force Reserve Palace Front or Palace Chase programs, please contact Master Sgt. Matthew Laney at 567-4494. He is located in Building 26, Suite 144. This building is outside the restricted area next to the Irwin Road gate entrance.
