Racquetball court closed, intramural season postponed
The racquetball court at the Fitness Center is closed until further notice, and as a result, the intramural racquetball season is also postponed. For more information, please call the Fitness Center at 567-6628.

Denver Nuggets features 'Knockout' night
The Denver Nuggets will host a game of "Knockout" after the Nuggets take on the Detroit Pistons March 19. Tickets are specially discounted for the game, and everyone purchasing a specially discounted ticket will be eligible to play. The winner of the game will receive courtside seats to a Nuggets game of their choice. Stop by the Information Travel and Tickets office in Building 300, Room 133 for more information or to purchase tickets.

Ski season is still underway, and you can buy your tickets before heading to your mountain. Avoid the lines, buy your tickets at the Outdoor Recreation and Information Travel and Tickets office located in Building 300, Room 133. Single day passes as well as single mountain season passes are also available. Call 567-6050 for more information.
Air Force, NCAA runs March Madness promotion
The Air Force, in conjunction with the NCAA, is running a promotion for March Madness. Stop by Outdoor Recreation to pick up your game piece. Instant winner tickets range from $5 to $500. All tickets have a chance to win $5,000 or a VIP package to this year's NCAA Final Four in Arlington, Texas. For more information, stop by the ODR/ITT office.
Save money, ride vanpool
Save gas money. The government provides $130 per rider per month to pay for commuter van. Department of Defense civilians and uniformed military personnel are eligible. Space is available for a vanpool originating from Falcon Walmart (Woodmen and Meridian Market View Road). The van departs 6:25 a.m. and arrives 6:55 a.m. at Schriever AFB . At the end of the duty day, the van departs Schriever AFB at 4:10 p.m. and arrives at Falcon Walmart 4:40 p.m. Drop off and pickup points on Schriever AFB may vary. Grant provides child support assistance to service members
A federal grant for Colorado will assist service members with child support and related issues. El Paso County Child Support Services will provide assistance to parents provided at least one parent is active duty. A representative will be at Schriever AFB 1-3 p.m. March 31 at the 50th Space Wing Legal office to assist service members and their families. SFS issues new installation, RA entry point hours
Effective April 1, the North Gate will be open 24 hours a day. The West Gate will only be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and closed for all weekends and holidays. The North Vehicle Entrapment Area will also be open 24 hours a day. The West Vehicle Entrapment Area will only be open from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays and closed for all weekends and holidays. After-duty hour badge issue will no longer be conducted at the West Vehicle Entrapment Area and moved to the North Entrance Control Facility (Building 200).
Legal assistance website saves time
You may fill out an online worksheet prior to your visit to the legal office for expedited service. Worksheet topics include wills, advance medical directives and powers of attorney. No legal documents can be printed from this website. Please visit the Schriever legal office to obtain your document. Only Air Force legal offices have access to the data you enter here, and data you enter is deleted after 90 days. Please bring your ticket number with you. New vanpool serves Castle Rock, Monument, Black Forest to Schriever
Tired of rising gas prices? Is the commuting wear and tear of commuting taking a bite out of your car and your wallet? Take advantage of mass transportation vouchers (military and government civil service). A new van pool is operating. The route includes Castle Rock, Monument, Black Forest and Falcon area. Schriever Volunteer Income Tax Assistance representatives are now available to provide free help in filing your taxes.
