Basketball court closed Feb. 27 and 28
The basketball court at the Fitness Center will be closed on Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in support of an official function. The basketball court at the Fitness Center will also be closed on Feb. 28 from noon to 5 p.m. in support of the 50 SW Promotion Ceremony. Armed Forces Vacation Club offers 7-night space-available trips
The Armed Forces Vacation Club has launched a sale on 7-night, space-available trips. All 7-night space-available stays are $279. The sale began Feb. 18th and is scheduled to run through Feb. 25. This offer applies only to 7-night space-available stays. Visit for details.

Air Force Reserve In-Service Recruiting: Palace Front or Palace Chase
Palace Chase and Palace Front briefings are held each Wednesday at 10 a.m. in building 26 (310th Space Wing Headquarters), suite 106 (subject to change if TDY). If you are interested in information about the Air Force Reserve Palace Front or Palace Chase Programs, please contact your Air Force Reserve In-Service Recruiter; Master Sgt. M. Catholic Ash Wednesday Prayer Service
Please join us for a Catholic Prayer service with the distribution of ashes commemorating Ash Wednesday. Wednesday, March 5 held in the Chapel Resource Room building 300, Room 146 (near the Satellite Dish dining facility) at 10:30 a.m. For more information contact the chapel at 567-3705.

Protestant Liturgical Ash Wednesday Service
Wednesday, March 5 marks the beginning of the Lenten season, a time for self-examination and self-denial to focus on the gift of Easter. We will celebrate the Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes during the service held in the Chapel Resource Room building 300, Room 146 (near the Satellite Dish dining facility) at 11:30 a.m. For more information contact the chapel at 567-3705.

Seeking Falcon Vanpool Riders
Space is available for a vanpool that originates at the Falcon Wal-Mart (Woodmen and Meridian Market View Road). The van departs at 6:25 a.m. weekdays and arrives at Schriever at 6:55 a.m. At the end of the duty day, the van departs Schriever at 4:10 p.m. and arrives at the Falcon Wal-Mart at 4:40 p.m. Drop off and pickup points on Schriever may vary. Grant to provide child support assistance to service members
A new federal grant for Colorado will assist service members with child support and related issues. El Paso County Child Support Services will provide assistance to parents provided at least one parent is active duty. A representative will be at Schriever on 24 Feb 14, 1-3 p.m. at the 50th Space Wing Legal Office to assist service members and their families. Air Force Legal Assistance Website saves time
You may fill out an online worksheet prior to your visit to the legal office for expedited service. Worksheet topics include wills, advance medical directives, and powers of attorney. No legal documents can be printed from this website. Please visit the Schriever Air Force Base Legal office to obtain your document. Only Air Force legal offices have access to the data you enter here, and data you enter is deleted after 90 days. Please bring your ticket number with you. Legal office personnel will not be able to to access your worksheet without the ticket number.
