Wing holds Warfit Run
The 50th Space Wing is holding the monthly Warfit Run 3 p.m. today at the Schriever Fitness Center. Uniform for all military members is the Air Force physical training uniform. Unit morale shirts are authorized unless otherwise directed.

Wingman University streams Pep Rally
For those unable to attend the Wingman University pep rally, 9 a.m. Thursday, there will be a DCS video link available. The link can be found here:

Military Retirees Activities Office holds monthly luncheon
The Military Retiree Activities office holds a luncheon at noon the second Thursday of each month at the Peterson Air Force Base club, followed by its monthly council meeting at 2:30 p.m. in Building 350, Room 1206. The guest speaker for Thursday will be Hernando Pena who will talk about the Veteran Resources Initiative. Call 556-7153 for more information.

Finance offices closes
The Finance Customer Service Office will close at 2 p.m. Thursday for Wingman Day.

Motorcycle Mentorship rides to Deckers
The 50th Space Wing Motorcycle Mentorship Team will be hosting a mentorship ride to Deckers, Colorado, 1 p.m. Friday, weather permitting. All riders are welcome to attend. Meet at the gym auxiliary parking lot (up the Hill) at 12:30 p.m. for the pre-ride inspection. For more information, contact Capt. Collin Greiser at 567-5543.


Chapel office offers RESt
Limited spots are available for the chapel-sponsored Financial Religious Education Stewardship program. This nine-week class will be held 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. every Thursday, starting June 2, at the Peterson Air Force Base chapel in Rooms 10 and 11. To sign up, contact your Schriever chapel at 567-3705.

Schriever housing offers family Christian fellowship
A family Bible study is held at the Tierra Vista Community Center 6:30-8 p.m. every Wednesday. Come join for inspiring worship, Bible study and prayer. Families are welcome. Childcare and separate kids' activities for 10 and under provided. For more info, call 567-3705.

TVCC holds women's Bible study
A women's Bible study is held at the Tierra Vista Community Center 9:30-11 a.m. every Tuesday. There will be fellowship and conversations about today's critical issues from a Christian perspective. For more information, call the chapel at 567-3705.

Off Base

Help needed at Ellicott Field Days
Ellicott Elementary will be hosting Field Days from 8:30 a.m. to noon May 23-25 and is in need of volunteers. May 23 will be K-1st grade, May 24 will be 2nd and 3rd grade, and May 25 will be 4th and 5th grade. Additionally, in the case of bad weather, the times and days will be noon to 3:30 p.m. May 23-26. National Police Week Fallen Officer Motorcycle Ride
The 2016 Fallen Officer Motorcycle Ride will pass through Schriever at approximately 9:45 a.m. May 19. This event is conducted in support of our fallen officers throughout our military as well as our civilian counterparts who made their last call.  The route will be escorted and reserved for the motorcade throughout its procession as it enters the West Gate, travels through Enoch Road and exits the North Gate.  Please come out to show your support.  Contact Master Sgt. Society opens door to military widows
The Society of Military Widows is open to widows of any branch of military service, regardless of the spouse’s rank. The Pikes Peak Chapter 15 of the Society of Military Widows meets the last Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the Peterson Air Force Base club. Call 597-0492 or 591-9523 for more information.

Cheyenne Mountain AFS hosts Tunnel Run

Women's panel discusses military issues
Come socialize, network and gain valuable insight from senior leadership 2 – 4 p.m. May 25 at the Peterson Air Force Base club.  Suggested topics for the panel are: Issues women face in today's military, leading as women and mentoring and supporting female peers and subordinates.  This event is open to everyone.  The cost is $5 with desserts and beverages provided.  For more information, contact 1st Lt. Van pool seeks passengers
A Schriever van pool is looking for additional riders.  The van leaves from the Albertson's parking lot on Union and Research at 5:45 a.m. and arrives at Schriever Air Force Base around 6:15 a.m.  The van leaves Schriever at 3:30 p.m. and returns to Albertson's around 4:15 p.m. This is a great way to save wear and tear on your car, save money and relax on the way to/from work.  For government civilian or military, there is no cost. Some companies also offer reimbursement for van pools so contractor cost will depend on your company policy. If interested, contact Herb Hipple at 567-0285.
