SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo -- Senior Airman Thomas Myers, 2nd Space Operations Squadron, earned Schriever Air Force Base's Top III Performer of the Month for April. He revamped the 2 SOPS Modification Control Board, streamlining checklists and enabling more than a dozen projects to be implemented into the GPS weapon system. He established the first-ever Information Assurance resolution board with Space and Missile Systems Center, which rectified vulnerabilities creating a more secure GPS network backbone. Additionally, Myers spent numerous hours of his off-time volunteering at the Children’s Literacy Center teaching reading skills and standing in as a father figure. Lastly, he volunteers as a mentor to military children who have lost parents to suicide.
Each month, the Schriever Air Force Base Top III honors a Top Performer. The Top Performer award highlights the superior efforts and contributions of our junior enlisted members from across the base.
