Defense Secretary visits Schriever

SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Defense Secretary Ashton Carter visited the Joint Interagency Combined Space Operations Center at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, Thursday, May, 12, 2016. Gen. John Hyten, commander of Air Force Space Command, and Adm. Cecil Haney, U.S. Strategic Command commander, also visited the installation. The center provides the Department of Defense and the intelligence community with a robust test and experimentation environment to better integrate our space operations in response to threats and afford unity of effort between diverse space communities.
