History Quiz – Week of July 28

Last week’s question and answer:
The 50th Mission Support Group was originally established May 16, 1949, under what name? The Air Force established the group as the 50th Air Base Group on that date.  Since then, the group has been designated 50th Combat Support Group and 50th Support Group, in addition to its current designation.

This week’s question:
Which 50th Tactical Fighter Wing fighter squadron, once commanded by Gen. Charles E. “Chuck” Yeager, was reassigned to the 67th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing on July 15, 1968.
