Last week’s question and answer:
A Dec. 8, 1957, reorganization of the 50th Fighter-Bomber (now Space) Wing resulted in the inactivation of all but one of its subordinate groups.  Which group did not inactivate? The 50th Combat Support (now Mission Support) Group did not inactivate.  Operations and maintenance groups were replaced by deputy commanders and their squadron assigned directly to the wing.
