    This year’s Earth Day theme is “Protect our Species,” reminding Airmen to help preserve nature’s wildlife. The 50th CES also reminds Schriever Airmen to use reusable containers, shopping bags and water bottles to help prevent pollution.

The event had to be moved indoors due to inclement weather, but that didn't stop residents from going out to get a few starter items for their home gardens.
