Eligible patrons include active-duty military personnel assigned to any installation in the area, as well as Department of Defense civilians paid with appropriated or non-appropriated funds and full-time DOD contractors working at Schriever.
The CDC can support up to 270 children and provides hourly care on a space-available basis. Patrons must fill out registration forms prior to the day of care.
The philosophy behind the CDC's curriculum is that young children learn best by doing. Learning is not just repeating what someone else says; it requires active thinking and experimenting to learn firsthand about the world we live in.
